Delivery created without sales order reference

Hi ,

User has created a item in the delivery document without order reference.

and hence the order status remains open.

I need to restrict the users from manually entering the item , qty details in the delivery document without sales order reference.

I have already gone through the forum and was not able to find the correct solution

Please help , how to restrict the users.

OVLK screen is attached.

Anita,

Members have given two suggestions.

Maybe you could do some tests and update this thread with the results when you use each of these requirements.

This would be a way to give back to this community

And it would be a learning for you too.
