Impact on existing interface if we change the HTTPS port from 8001 to 443

Hello Experts,

due to some issues i need to change my SAP PI system HTTPS port from 8001 to 443, if i do this will it impact on existing interface???

Hi Chinna,

The Enterprise service repository is independent of the configuration and in the integration directory you don't need to establish the port for inbound messages. At first view, i think your interfaces will work correctly.

Hi Chinna,

I would re-evaluate all your interfaces before the change & maybe attempt the change in your preceding environments with a full test (regression or otherwise) before attempting it in Prod.

I tend to disagree with Inaki's comment regarding the port requirement for inbound messages, particlularly proxy communication directly to PI's integration engine. The port is used there, if you change from 8001 to 443 in your dual stack environment, the proxy based ones (if you have any) will stop working.
