how can i convert following info. msg to error msg.

"Reqd characteristics still open! Do you want to force inspection completion?

i need before entering all results no one can go ahead for UD

also i need msg no or ID of above message

To control access to the “force closure” functionality in an inspection lot, use authorization object Q_CHAR_PRC.

If you use that authorization object, you can control which users can and cannot force close an inspection lot.  Make sure you give that authorization to someone!  You will need it at some point some day.  This usually goes to a super user or a lab manager.  Sometimes its given only to someone in quality assurance.
