Change the SLED in QA11 to " Display only"

Hi,

     My client requirement is to change the SLED field in the QA11 screen to be "Display only" for some plants. I tried with the standard field selection in

SPRO--> Quality Management--> Environment -->Tools --> System Modification --> Adapt Field Selection --> Module pool: SAPMQEVA, but it is client level. Please suggest me any other option to fulfill the requirement

You can try taking authorization away for MSC2n for the users you want to block.  I'm not 100% sure that will work but it might.and its what I would try first.

The field might still look active, but it might not update the batch.

Other alternative could be to use SHD0 T code to create variant which could be plant specific.

Seek help of Abaper.
