PO not found when creating a confirmation

Dear gurus,

We have upgraded from SRM 5 to SRM 7.1.

We have found a strange behaviour when creating a confirmation.

In the search help, if we filter with the PO number the PO is properly retrieved. The same happens if we filter for the related SC, again the PO is retrieved.

The issue is raised, instead, when we filter during the search with both the PO and the SC: No purchase order is retrieved.

We have investigated the potential related notes and applied the following one but with no success: Note 1587580 - Incorrect error message on pre selection screen.

Are you aware of this issue and a note that apply to this case?

Hello Valentino,

When you search for PO's and SC's in advanced search help works well, but when you search for Purchase Order in search help when creating a Confirmation it does not retrieve any entries.

If I understand well that issue, that is raised because you do not have maintained attributes in your root organizational plan. You need to maintain Backend Logical system in the corresponding attributes (logsys, logsys fi, etc).

For confirmation, the search read logical system for backend and with that value search for Purchase Order directly at Backend System.
