One Java Stack for entire BW landscape

Hi Experts,

We have a current need to install Java Stack for usage type BI.

Is it possible that I only use one Java Stack for the the entire BW ABAP landscape. Meaning the DEV, QA and PRD ABAP will be connected to only one JAVA. This is because we have very limited resources.

Or is it a 1:1 ratio if I want to use Java for BI?

I've been trying to search through the net, but can't seem to find the answer. I know there is the concept of federated portal, but I think this is for different usage type and not for an entire landscape. If you can point me as well to any documentation if this set-up is possible.

Hi,

You can use same Portal system for all three system. But it is not recommended. You should keep your production system separate from development or quality system.
