Hi All,
I posted this in the GRC forum but thought that you guys might have a better view on this issue.
http://scn.sap.com/thread/3267371
One of my clients has tried to deploy the GRC component on NW7.3 only to find that it is not a compatible version. Their Basis supplier claims that it is supported on 7.3.1 but we're looking for market validation of this.
Can you shed some light on whether this is a supported version and if so, do you have any evidence from actual deployments to validate this?
Thanks,
Simon
Hi Simon,
Have you checked here http://scn.sap.com/message/13159928 ??
The documentation states that it's compatible only with 7.02
Cheers,
Diego.

Hi Diego,
I couldn't follow that link but I re-checked the Solution documentation on SDN and in the PAM. I already knew that the required version is 7.02 but I'm trying to find any evidence to support the view that these 3rd party suppliers have that 7.3.1 is also a compatible and supported release.
Thus far no luck!
Simon
Please refer to Note 1680268.
It states it is supported as of GRCFND_A V1000 SP08.
4) Compatibility of GRCFND_A With NW releases:
GRCFND_A is compatible with NW 702 SP06 (SAP_BASIS) onwards.
GRCFND_A is also compatible with NW 7.31 from SP08 of GRCFND_A V1000.

Hello Simon,
Kindly have a look at the below note, which says :
Access Control 10.0 software component GRCFND_A is not currently supported with Netweaver 731.
Note 1692868 - Supportability of Access Controls 10.0 with Netweaver 731
Some notes are mentioned in the above note.
Hope it will help you.
Regards,
Amit

Thanks guys,
Useful background content but as I mentioned in the linked thread, this question is aimed at the GRCFND_A component not the GRCPINW or GRCPIERP components.
Cheers, Simon
