I wonder if there is a migration path for existing StreamWork activities to JAM. Since it seems that JAM is now the collaboration platform to be used this would make a lot of sense.
Does anybody know something about this?

Hello Arne,
There isn't a definite decision yet on migration yet but it is being evaluated.
On the page my colleague mentioned (https://portal.wdf.sap.corp/go/help-sapjam)
Are all of these versions being consolidated?
Yes, a task force is working on a consolidation plan. Consolidated doesn´t
mean that all content from all instances will be merged into one. However, all
users will be able to collaborate across the company and with SuccessFactors
colleagues as well as other external colleagues and partners. The option to
migrate existing content is being evaluated

Ok i just got this link myself:
Hello Diego,
The above link is not public, apologies.
I can provide you with this information:
How can I transfer my SAP StreamWork content to SAP Jam?
There is not an automatic migration. It is important to note that StreamWork Activities are usually
temporary in nature. Therefore one has to take a careful decision which content shall move to SAP Jam. It is always possible to manually move individual documents from SAP StreamWork to SAP Jam.Alternatively PDF snapshots of an activity can be created and added to a SAP Jam group.
I hope that you find this information helpful.

Hi,
I have migrated my content manually in the meantime. Thanks for all the comments!

Arne

Hi Arne,
An option to consider is to use the StreamWork APIs to extract the data. Documentation on this is pretty good. In my case, I had to extract a lot of data from my StreamWork activity. Used StreamWork APIs to extract the data in xml format and transformed it to html using xsl. Now I can upload the html file into Jam. Jam does a nice job of searching attachments.
Hope this helps.

Vikram
