Business Explorer Analyzer SAP Logon details appear wrongly

Former Member

Dear Gurus,

Please advise if you encountered this error before in Business Explorer Analyzer SAP Logon before.

When the user opens his ms excel using Analyzer and tries to logon, the client and language field will show wrong info.

For example,

Instead of showing just the client number, it shows something like this.

Client               = 123 USERNAME

User                 = USERNAME

Password         =

Language         = EN USERNAME

After manually key in the details and successful login, the next time, the errors above will appear again.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Regards,

SF

Hi Suresh,

I remembered I did not solve the problem. The workaround that I did was to disable the history for the user laptop to show the user name and client number.

Thanks.

Hi Sriram,

I am sorry but I have forgotten about it. However you can check this sap note 153265. Changes in SAP Logon control.

I remembered my problem was more on the laptop windows registry.

Thanks.

Stephan Fong
