How to transfer IDoc to file in the same SAP client

Hi,

The IDoc which is created in SAP R/3 is required to transfer to file on it's own directory.  For that IDoc it was created ‘partner profile’
with outbound profile in which ‘receiver port’ is created in transaction WE21 with next data for ‘File’ port:

I also tried to make ‘Distribution model’ (transaction BD64) where the sender and receiver are the same logical system (the
same SAP client) but the system do not allow such settings.  So, the problem is how to make SAP settings to
transfer IDoc to file on SAP directory in the same SAP client.

Thanks.

Regards, Marko

Thanks for advice. I created IDoc for one material with transaction BD10.  The
status text is “Data passed to port OK” and error text is “IDoc has been
written in XML format in file” for this IDoc in transaction BD87. But the file
is not appear on defined directory, despite the fact that access test for
defined directory in transaction WE21 display “Access to directory possible
from current application server”. Any idea why the file is not appear?

  1. Thanks. Marko

Explanation for file ”not appearance”:

The point was in interpretation of the field
“Directory” in transaction WE21 – at our example the value is “G:\usr\sap\DE1\SYS\global\doc_file”
is but the document with name 'doc_fileO_220_0000000000691028'
was created on directory G:\usr\sap\DE1\SYS\global\.
