Hi,

We are configuring Manage system configuration in solman_setup for systems in our landscape.

At STEP11 configuration check we are facing below error:-

Error : An unexpected error occured

Action : Kindly open a message in the component SV-SMG-DIA

Details :

com.sap.engine.services.rmi_p4.exception.P4BaseRuntimeException.

Unexpected exception.

Check Context OS Command console | SAP OS Collector Command | HOST

HOST =uarctwq02

Error : A timeout occured during the execution of the OS Command

According to guide avaible in note 1611483 we need to changed the agent OS (diaaam)user, please guide us how to proceede further.

Hi Pavan,

Please upgrade the SAP Host agent in Managed system to the latest patch available at SAP Marketplace. Then check again.

Hello Pavan,

Just wanted to share the solution. If any of the above suggested steps didn't resolve the issue, then please take a look at the section 'Required Solution Manager Java Stack Settings (Scalability)' in the following wiki. It has fixed the same issue in our Solman system.

I knew this is more than 2 yrs old thread. There was no solution provided hence I thought to update with solution.

Today while setting up the managed system I had same error but not resolved after restarting the and the DAA agent. It took some time to investigate the error log and after restarting the saphostexe service issue resolved.
