Transfer order has been created around 2 months later the posting change has been created

Hi all,

I have one posting change created on 14.09.2012 but the Transfer order has been 05.11.2012 through batch job.Actually the batch job which creates TO for the PCNs runs every 5 minutes everyday and running successfully everyday .For some reason the batch job has not created the TO on 14.09.2012 and it created the TO on 05.11.2012 on the same day for many other PCNs the TOs has been created successfully .Please give your inputs

Dear Susmitha ,

One reason is that background job might not find appropriate quant for posting change, or incase of it finds stock in more than one storage bin and job fails to execute .

Same behavior can be encountered during QM - WM integration .

i hope this could be one of the same case , let me try to get notes to provide more details.

Hi Harini,

Sometimes it happens becuase of the lock entries in the background job, please refer SAP note # 72570.
