new fields in sales documents

Pls advise me the menupath to add the fileds (hide, display, mandatory, optional) in the sales document.

Hi,

Please t.code SHD0. Give the T.code VA01. select the transaction variant for you want to make changes for as BUS2032 and go in the edit mode. You will find a list of fields that appear in a sales order for which you make them as optional, mandatory, suppress.

Answer was somewhat helpful. It is allowing us to hide the field only on screens such as sales & item details. I want to hide the fields in the header or item. Is it possible? If yes pls advise me the menupath.

You cannot add new fields in the order only by customizing, you have to develop abap user exits to do this.

To make the existing ones mandatory you can also use incompletion procedures in addition to Sadhu hints.
