Error during update of SAP SPAM/SAINT

Hello,

I am trying t install the prerequisites for BPC 10 for windows.

One of the activities for the process is to update the SPAM/SAINT manager. I am trying to update it to 7.30/0047

While doing so I am getting the errors attached in the file

I am unable to find the cause for the error that I am getting.

Any light on getting the issue resolved would be very helpful.

Hi,

your TMS configuration is inconsistency.

do one thing add virtual system to this TMS and create transport routes and transport layers then distribute TMS and perform checks for connection test, transport directory and tp.

It should work, let me know result.

I get an error when I try to add a virtual system

Command: TMS_MGR_CONFIGURE_DUMMY

Function: TMS_PS_WRITE_PROFILE_TO_DISK

Message: SET_CODEPAGE_FAILED

Description: Could not start transport control program tp

Looks like the hosts file was not configured properly.

After adding the machine id in the hosts file, the tp started working fine.
