Solman 7.1 - Diagnostics agents on-the-fly feature

Hi,

We need help regarding the agent on-the-fly feature of Solution Manager diagnostics (solman 7.1 SP6)

We have Windows + Oracle Cluster setup and installed DAA agents (730 and SAP host agnets) on 2 Physical hosts with Server name of agent is set to Physical hostname.

Now we face issues while running Managed sytsem setup that the agent for Database is not found. (Database is by virtual name)

Referring SAP note  

It seems that we need not install diagnostics agents by Virtual hostnames again now, but we have to use Agents on-the-fly feature.

However we need to know on how this can be enabled in current scenario and if we enable this in Production system what impact will it have on servers ?

Will this impact any normal working of the server ?

Hi,

DAA agent on fly concept used for High availablity environment , where DB /Server switch/fail over activity in place.

do you have such requirement, chk below for DAA on fly
