IDoc Serialization from Non ECC System

Hi,

I need to achieve IDoc serialization for a scenario where sender system is a Non ECC system & receiver system is an ECC system (File -> PI-> IDoc). The serialization to be achieved is such that the second IDoc is processed only when the first IDoc is processed successfully. Here we are using two different IDoc types for eg MATMAS & CLFMAS. Thus CLFMAS will be processed only when MATMAS is processed successfully.

Can such a requirement be met only through object type serialization? If it is so, how to achieve this, since sender system is a non ECC system? Also how will the mapping be configured in such case?
