java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: _typeRegistry (NWDS)

Hi everybody,

i have some question about this error: "java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: _typeRegistry".

ERROR IE:

Root Cause

The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:

at dbreuer.service.com.calc.proxies.CalculatorProjectDBREUERImpl.<init>(CalculatorProjectDBREUERImpl.java:12)

at dbreuer.service.com.calc.CalculatorProjectDBREUER.getServiceImpl(CalculatorProjectDBREUER.java:47)

... 28 more

See full exception chain for details.

Correction Hints

The currently executed application, or one of the components it depends on, has been compiled against class file versions that are different from the ones that are available at runtime.

If the exception message indicates, that the modified class is part of the Web Dynpro Runtime (package com.sap.tc.webdynpro.*) then the running Web Dynpro Runtime is of a version that is not compatible with the Web Dynpro Designtime (Developer Studio or Component Build Server) which has been used to build + compile the application.

Note: the above hints are only a guess. They are automatically derived from the exception that occurred and therefore can't be guaranteed to address the original problem in all cases.

I`m new in the Business and could not understand this error.

I already read many threads in this forum, but I couldn`t find no exact answer however!

Could somebody help me?

Dennis,

But have you verified conditions described in hint?

What is your NW IDE version (with SP level) and what is your WebAS version?

Yes, I have verified the conditions.

Software Components all components...

Name Version Applied

sap.com/SAP-JEECOR 6.40 SP14 (1000.6.40.14.0.20050921043441) 20051107185143

sap.com/SAP-JEE 6.40 SP14 (1000.6.40.14.0.20050921043604) 20051107185203

Where could i found the WebAS Version?

Dennis,

If I understand you correctly your WebAS is NW04 6.40 SP 14

Information you provided is from http://host:port/sap/monitoring/SystemInfo

But what is version of your IDE as it's shown in Help -> About SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio menu?

Hi Silaev,

yes, the WebAS is right.

In the NWDS there are following informations:

SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio

Version: 2.0.19

Build id: 200610270428

I have also created the example with NWDS Ver. 7.0.10. There is the same problem...

Dennis,

So the problem is obvious -- different SP stacks,

IDE stack is higher then WebAS.

IDE Version: 2.0.19 == NW04 6.40 SP19

but WebAS version == NW04 6.40 SP14

Just find IDE that has version SP14 or lower and rebuild your project there.

Btw, NWDS Ver. 7.0.10 == NW04s 7.00 SP 10 -- mismatch is even more serious.

Thank you very much.

I have installed the NWDS 2.0.11. The Problem is fixed!
