Local Copy in Desktop

Hi Experts,

When we are opeing a document from the SAP PLM DMS portal, a copy of the original is getting created on the Desktop. I Understand that, if the DC 20 Settings are not made, then it will default to SAP work directory. But Why its always downloding to Desktop. Anybody faced the same issue, please respond with the solution.

When we are doing the same from CV02/03 Tcode, its working fine.

Hi Sarath,

maybe the information at http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/PQB0AQ could answer this question. Personally I would recommend you to maintain a short path like C:\temp\ in transaction DC20 to avoid any problems.
