ECC6 Email Configuration issue

Hi all,

ECC6 Developmeny system eamil works fine, but I can';t received any eamil in QA

something i am missing, there is no error message but I can't see any eamil in SOST and in SCOT waiting status

my question how to trace this thing.

SAP connect job is running fine

Node and SMTP is active

SICF mail is active

communication and domain is right

scot --> internet option --> eamil listed in my eamil address

SU01 - shows my eamil address and eamil method

I have SAP all authrozation setup

What else i have to do

this is not extrinal eamil it company's domain eamil

any clue please

Hi

SMIC transcation Click on goto from menu -> services and see SMTP port is active or not

Yes, I SMICM SMTP service is activated green check sign

what is the port number u see for SMTP.

from Business workplace send a new message to ur email id.

send me the screen shot of the scot transcation

Change that port from 0 to 25 also check in dev system and see what is the port value

In scot->utilities overview of send orders

click on further

select the both the option once displayed

check the Send Date

Thanks a lot for your time, sure I gonna change the value 0 to 25, but the strange thing is DEV system has same value SMTP port 0 even I checked RZ10 profile value, as well

Sender status ->further once selected both options click on excuted u should see the 2 messages take the screen shot of that screen

Hi Angeline,

If the emails are in waiting state then could be reason that they re waiting for next sapconnect job to run.

Could you please check the message number of emails from sost and check what is the reason suggested in message and let us know

Also check if profile parameter is there for your SMTP service. If not there then you can add it though smicm-> services and then menu services -> create smtp service and save and check once again.

Thanks for reply, basically when I email myself from So01 and go back to SOST I didn't see any messange in there, not even error message code

SMICM listed 2 rows, one is SMTP and other one is HTTP both are activeted

even I match with Dev. system look like same

any other clue please

Hi Angeline,

Do you mean that you see emails are not caming in SOS?.  If you are sending internal emails to your self may be below forum cold help you.
