License issue after Application movement from primary server to Failover server

Hi,

For Failover testing we have moved one of our primary  server

to failover node with same profiles and using canonical name for hostname we have brought up the

application but,while trying to login through sapgui we are getting a license error.

According to SAP note 181543 when message server is changing we need to import new license.

So do I need to apply new license from  SAP MarketPlace. If yes, Will SAP charge.

Yes, you need to request additional license key for the existing system and install it. You will have two hardware keys for both servers in that license. Its free of charge.
