SOAMANAGER

hi there experts!

does anyone knows why I cannot see any call to an R3 Webservice in the TRACE tab of the SOAMANAGER? The webservice is being called from .NET and it does response, successfully with data and so on... but I've see no call at SOAMANAGER.

Cheers,

Edu

Hi Maxi,

I'm afraid there's no interface, they've developed the WS right in ABAP, and published it, and now they're asking the XI guy (aka me) why they don't have any monitoring... I've said that that's the risk of not publishing WS in XI, but I just wanted to know why there is not even a call trace at SOAMANAGER.

cheers,

Edu

Yes it would have been better if you guys integrated the scenario using PI soap adapter for detailed logs and monitoring.  Ofcourse they might have not configured for logging in the SOAMANAGER of AS ABAP.  You might want to see this sap help link

Please refer configuring and tracing links too. Take help from BASIS
