Foreign Trade/Export Data of Material Master

Dear Folks,

I would like to understand how Foreign Trade export data of material master data reflects in SD Process.

Though we maintained commodity code ,country of Origin, Country of destination etc this is not picked from material master data for delivery documents. Please guide me .

Also, please share how  Foreign trade is configured for INTRASTAT and EC sales reporting.

Hi Phani ,

Commodity Code and Country of Origin gets updated in the delivery document if it is an export scenerio.Please check whether delivery document is of export scenerio.(Plant country and Ship to Party country shoud be different)

You might need to check configuration for the same in SPRO.

Hi Phani,

Foreign trade data tab will be mainly used for export or impiort scenarios, unless we maintain data here the system will no recognise whether license required to export or even to calculate import / export duty during customs processing.
