Individual billing and collective billing in VF04

Dear All,

A billing Document is created in VF04, but don't know the option (collective or individual ).how to find out whether it is created in collective option or individual option in VF04 ?

Check the document flow.

If you find there are more than one preceeding documents to current billing doc, then it is result of collective billing. Similarly, if you find one preceeding doc to current billing doc, then it is result of individual billing. But, I don't feel you will be able to know, whether the billing doc is created by using VF04 or VF01.

Hi Santosh

You can check in VBFA table for proceeding document.Here you can see the number of proceeding and follow on Document. More over set up for Collective Billing be on your Copy control .VTFA or VTFL set up you have Assignment number or Reference number .if you no not provide any inputs it will lead to Combing the Delivery documents in to a Single Billing Document keeping Standard Invoice split in mind.

    Say if the above said fields are blank system will collect 5 Deliveries and make a Single Invoice .I am sure it will not make any difference if you have created bill from VF04 or VF01 if you have single delivery and Single Invoice Scenario
