MS SQL license

Hello gurus,

Recently I have installed ERP system with MSSQL. I installed the MSSQL via the SQL4SAP.vbs script.

Up to now I have only used IBM DB2 and installed DB2 licneses via db2licm command.

How can I install licenses to MSSQL? There is no such point in the install guide?

Now the system is working, how can I check the current license, may be it is temporary?

Hi ILIAN,

If you downloaded the Installation DVD from Sap Marcketplace, you don't have to worry about MSSQL license. Your company will licensce SAP plus DB togheter so when you install MSSQL server is licensed permanetlly.

To chekc MSSQL license go :

SELECT SERVERPROPERTY('Edition');
