Sender Mail Adapter

Hello,

We have a Mail to Proxy scenario. We are getting payload as an attachment in the email , which our mail adapter picks up

and does the payload swap correctly and calls the proxy in ECC.

It works correctly . Only a slight doubt,

when I look at the message in SXMB_MONI at ECC side (not PI) , in the inbound message I still see two parts in the payload -

1. Mail message (body of the email)

2. Mail Attachment (which is the actual payload)

I am wondering should I be seeing the 'mail message' at all in ECC? shouldnt it get stripped off in PI itself? or can I do it? so that only the attachment part goes in ECC?

I dont think you have any control to supress those messages..as proxy is native communication between sap systems..
