Process step for storage unit management

Hi,

My client has implemented WM with Storage unit management. Can some one pls explain me the process step involved and the transactions needed for storage unit management both for inbound and outbound delivery.

I have just read in some document that it involve following steps:

1. Create a storage unit in T.code: LT07

2. Plan a storage unit in T.Code LT0A

3. Print Storage unit document in T.Code LT32

4. Confirm a TO

But I am not sure about the sequence of above step for putaway and picking process in WM.

Dear Jenny ,

SU managed storage type will have SU number as additional parameter , rest of the transaction will remain same.

Eg : WM steps for inbound , GR carried with reference to inbound delivery.

Perform GR in MIGO

TO creation for inbound can be done with LT06

TO confirmation can be done in LT12 , destination storage type and bin will have SU attached to it.

Same transaction for picking will be applicable for SU , NON SU storage types.

Apart from standard transaction SU specific transactions can also be used depending on your requirement.

Eg : Putaway specific to SU can be done, picking by scanning SU can also be carried out.

Please check same and let me know incase of any query's.
