CVC's not getting generated for dependent products using DP BOM

Hi Guru's

I am thinking for using DP BOM to explode independent demand into dependent demand

i have created ppm for the same and checked on relevant field in the pos and have maintained the semantics in PA also have maintained to grid in the planning book

when i go for creation on cvc's i am not able to generate cvc for the dependent products. i am getting the message problem class additional information.

You need to generate CVC for the header products first manually or any other process you have. After that you need to execute the step Add BOM Information, which automatically adds the CVC for the dependent products if you have all the relevant settings maintained as you mentioned.

i had not assigned model number to the ppm i had created once i rectified it i was able to follow the procedure you told.
