Error in phase PREP_GENCHECKS/JOB_RSUPGRCHECK_PRE

Hi guys.

While upgrading ERP 6.0 to EHP5 using SUM 1.0 sps 5, im facing the following error during Checks Roadmap.

This is the base software components where im starting.

Background job RSUPGRCHECK is terminating and generating a dump

The current ABAP program "SAPLSDTA" had to be terminated because it has

come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

I know its saying Error in Kernel, and therefore i upgraded it from release 720 level 47 to 201 which is the same we are using on the entire SAP landscape

After upgrading the kernel it keep failing.

Hi,

I find below information

This error only occurs if the Support Package level of the SAP_BASIS component in the source system is lower than 13 (SAPKB70013), SAP Note 1315662 is implemented in the system, and Support Package 05 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 EHP1 is not included in the enhancement package installation.

Solution:

1. 1. Unlock the system with the following command:
2. tp unlocksys <SID> pf=<tp profile with path>
3. 2. Use transactions SE06 and SCC4 to change the system or client. To perform the changes, use a normal user. You must not perform the changes as user ddic or sap*.

Hi Venkat, that note applies for NW 7.01, and source system is NW 7.02.

PS: I think the issue was due some wrong transport that disrupted ABAP Dictionary.

After restoring the system prior to this import, the report worked RSUPGRCHECK fine
