I have an issue when trying to publish HANA models into BW, in the transaction no packages are visible. I have gone through the post below and have given both schema and analytical privilege to both the 'BWSCHEMA' user Id and the system user id but no luck.
We are on BW 7.3 SPS08 so the note does not apply. Now the only that I have not done is create user Id mapping between the BW user Id and HANA DB user id using external authentication (Eg: Kerberos ) is this a pre-requisite to be able to view HANA models in BW?
From the sap documentation :
The BW database user is always used every time the SAP HANA database is accessed. The BW database user and the BW user must be identical (1:1 user mapping), so that the analytic privileges of a BW database user can be mapped to the virtual analysis authorizations of a BW user.
