SysCopy export issue

Hi all,

i'am having problems with the export of an oracle DB.

I had created a temporary MSCluster with a CRM 5.0 installation and i did a restore on it of my productive DB (to create a copy of production to test a future migration).

All in the temporary cluster seems working fine, but now i need to do a DB export to check how much time i need to complete it.

My problem is that when i execute the sapint to do the export with r3load i get requests for profile directory, sapsid user password, export directoy and the summary window, but when i start it the process terminate successfully (i get the ok from sapinst) in few seconds but nothing is exported.

The last file updated in the log directory of sapinst is dev_sap_kernel with the below result:

---------------------------------------------------

trc file: "dev_sap_kernel", trc level: 1, release: "720"

---------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------

trc file: "dev_sap_kernel", trc level: 1, release: "720"

[Thr 11492] ***LOG Q0I=> NiPGetHostByName: 'MYDOMAIN' not found: getaddrinfo [ninti.c 895]

But i cannot understand why the result of NiPGetHostByName is the domain of the user sidadm and not the hostname.

Can you please give me some advice?

Thanks and regards

Federico

Problem solved by using full qualify with SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME parameter.
