Project creation from sales order

Working on an assembly processing scenario. I did the steps for assembly processing. When I am trying to create a sales order now it is asking for an account assignment to a WBS. So I understand I need to create the project first. The SO will trigger Network and Newtork activity.

My requirement is to also trigger a project from SO. Is this possible?

One more thing, since I have also assigned a material to the standard network why then the material component is not shown in project builder? I have to seperately assign the material to the activity. How can I automate this material assignment?

Various settings are required to achieve this and I suggest aht you go through your set up again

Regards to your specific issue

WBS - account assignment - not required, just save it should assign automatically - make sure that the sales order has the incompletion log set up correctly

material to standard network should be done using Material BOM - if this is done correctly then it works fine - standard functionality in SAP
