Is it possible to use STX transformations in SAP PI?

Hi experts,

the title already brings my question to the point: can STX transformations be used in SAP PI mappings?

The backgound is, that there are some IDoc-to-Database scenarios (SAPRDI02) where the IDocs should preferrably be handled with STX for performance reasons.

Is there any possiblity of doing so?

Or what is the best alternative from your point of view?

I'm looking forward to your ideas!

Hi,

Unfortunately no. Only XSLT is supported.

I would rather go with Message Mapping or Java Mapping. XSLT is not that well supported in terms of functionalities and Abap Mapping is clearly not the best choice is you plan to upgrade later.

Upgrade to 7.31 AEX which would solve performance issues.
