GRFN_MDUG Error when saving

Hi everyone,

When executing program GRFN_MDUG for PC 10.0 i get a warning message in the log "ERROR WHEN SAVING" and data is not uploaded.

1-     a. UPLOAD DATA ON SIMULATION MODE:

-          Objects IDs are assigned with no errors (everything green)

1-     b. UPLOAD DATA UNCHECKING SIMULATION MODE:

-          Objects IDs are assigned

-          There is the following error: “ERROR WHEN SAVING”. Data is not uploaded.

SAP NOTE – 1735626: This note refers to my issue.

-          Just says to give some time to execute the program again!!!

-          Even if we wait (for example:2 hours/1 day) the issue occurs again

Do you already have master data loaded or created?  It is possible that the MDUG file cannot save because there is already master data there.  It may be necessary to delete the previously created master data before you upload new master data.  The procedure for deleting previously created master data is as follows (NOT TO BE USED IN A PRODUCTIVE ENVIRONMENT!):

1. Run transaction code: SE38.

Use the Program Name: GRPC_CLM_CLEANUP.

Check the box for the content record you want to delete.

Test Mode: When selected, the system simulates the deletion. All content records that will be

deleted are listed. To delete the data, clear the box. The deleted status is shown as green

when successful.

Note: To verify the deletions were successful, repeat the test mode. Verify you do not

see the content records you had intended to delete.

Text field: Only contains the substring: Enter the string you want deleted in the Master Data.
