DDIC & SAP* Passwords is not working

Dears ,

I have installed SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 4 on windows server 2008 R2 and SQL server 2008 R2.

I`m trying to log in at the first time , but they are not working !!

I`ve tried these passwords :

Client : 00         

User: DDIC    

Password : 19920706

-----

Client : 01

user : sap*

password : 06071992

ALSO I`ve tired to log in with the master password that I have created it during the installation but without any things!!!!

**** the user is still not locked until now .

HI,

Set the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=0 and restart the SAP server & try to login

still problem presist do the below activity

reset the password of sap*

delete from usr02 where mandt='<client>' and bname='SAP*';

after that

login sap* login through the password : PASS

I can`t login to the system so I can`t update the parameter .

Should I run the query :

delete from usr02 where mandt='<client>' and bname='SAP*';

then RE-login to system ?????

Hi Rami,

After installation successful you have to use master password which is provided during installation.

**** the user is still not locked until now . how do you know users are not locked?

if you are not able to login to system 000 client then delete sap* from sql server.

delete from < dbschema >.USR02 where BNAME='SAP*' and MANDT=000

then

login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0

set, restart the instance and logon with SAP* with pass password.

In instance profile...from OS level...you can maintain this parameter.

it should be in installation directory C:/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profile/ and profile name will be <SID>_DVEBMGS<nn>_<hostname>

I FOUND THIS FILE :

DEFAULT.

DEFAULT.1

START_DVEBMGS00_SAPIDES

VL1_DVEBMGS00_SAPIDES

IN WITCH ONE SHOULD I MAKE CHANGES ??

do it in default profile. DEFAULT.PFL
