Switch off batch determination in delivery

Hi Members,

We have a scenario where one of the plants is managed by a 3 PL and the other is a local warehouse. We need to have batch determination in the delivery document only for deliveries created for the local warehouse. If the delivery is being made for the 3 PL, we would not like SAP to carry out a batch determination in the delivery document.

Since automatic batch determination is controlled at the item category for delivery, how can we switch off automatic batch determination based on the delivery plant ? What sort of an enhancement can be made for this purpose ?

     you can Deactivate it at Delivery Item Category.

Yes.. we can de-activate at delivery item category level. However, the item category that would be determined in the delivery would be based on the underlying sales order. The question is how do we de-activate the batch determination for the same item category based on the delivery plant ?
