Dear mentors,

while doing the upgrade from SAP Netweaver 7.0 SP20(JAVA System) to SAP Netweaver 7.3 ehancement package1 stack level 5 using SUM10 SP05

An error has occurred during the execution of the DETECT_START_RELEASE_COMPONENTS phase.

Could you please read SAP Note 1468349-

SAP Business Suite 7 for SAP NetWeaver 7.3 hub

For Business Suite applications that are based on older SAP

NetWeaver releases (for example, SAP NetWeaver 2004), it is

possible to perform the upgrade to SAP NetWeaver 7.3 in two

steps.

In the first step, you perform an upgrade of Business Suite

applications with older SAP NetWeaver releases to Business Suite

7 with SAP NetWeaver 7.0x. In the second step, you perform an

upgrade of SAP NetWeaver 7.0x to SAP NetWeaver 7.3.

Please check SAP Note No. 1698276 for NetWeaver 7.31 hub systems.

Thanks for giving reply, if it is not best pratice why solution manager maiantenance optimizer is recommending or allowing to download the SAP Netweaver 7.3 ehp1 dependent files.
