Dear Guru's,
We have a situation where we can save and approve, but NOT transfer the SC because the G/L Account in BE system is flagged for deletion.
In BE you are not able to save a PO because it throws an error.
I would expect SRM to throw that same error, but it does not in our system. Do you agree that this should be the case?
I have not been successfull in finding a note for this "error"

Hi Tom,
SAP note 1600194 (Backend check for local PO created automatically from SC) might be relevant for your case. Please implement the note, activate the backend check and retest the behavior.

Hi Tom,
as per my understanding the note is not only valid for extended classic, but also if the backend PO is created automatically from the SC.
This note (i.e. activating the new option) ensures, that backend error messages are shown in SRM before the SC is ordered, so that these are not causing issues during the transfer.
