We are experiencing "Cannot get SMD Remote Service" error while running Check configuration Step 10 in Managed System Setup. We are on Solution Manager 7.1 SP6.
SAP is aware of the issue and it's resolved in SAP Note # 1741259 for LM-Service SP5 but we are already on SP6 for LM-Service.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue in SP6

If you have SP06 you do not need to apply note 1741259 because it is
valid only for SP05.

Please apply the patch 1 from LM-SERVICE 7.10 SP06 as described in note
1483508 Solution Manager 7.1: Root Cause Analysis pre-requisites
Download the file LMSERVICE06_1-20006622.SCA and deploy it
to the Solman.

Then execute the Check Configuration again.
