Record Results for an equipment

Hi Gurus,

We have a scenary that we would like to create some inspection lots manually for equipments / function location to record inspection results. Do you know if we can create inspection lot manually for equipment or functional location?

We've thougut to create a similar scenary like Calibration process where we could use inspection lot type 14 > task list for an equipment or function location > maintenance orders. However for these types of inspections we won't have an specific period of time.

I'd glad to hear your opinion about it.

Hi

Create Order for the equipment/guage by using IW31 & release (IW32) the same accordingly by using relevant task list which you have created by using IA01 ( With Usage & status as "4") along with inspection point as 300.

Make sure in Prerequisite: Assign inspection type 14 to order type PM05 (Define Inspections in Plant Maintenance)

Firstly I would like to thank you for your reply. Honestly I thought the system could create inspection lot for equipments without generate maintenance orders. Therefore I will follow your suggestion...
