Credit Management - Payment Terms

Dear Experts,

I have a critical requirement.

Example: Customer X is assigned to different Credit Control Area in  Company Code GEPL.

Different divisions have different payment terms maintained EWD had 120 days, W & C has 45 days and Paints have 60 days.

But if Customer X has crossed payment terms in EWD division, it will block sales orders for all the divisions.

Currently that is not the case and customers are able to enjoy products of different divisions despite one division is blocked for Sales Orders.

Is there any configuration which can be done to solve the issue ????

Dear Ankit

One more Important think I would like to tell you that if you have fully automatic credit settings enabled with "terms of payment". It works like this

Division 1 Terms of payment 30 days and sale done 100 amount

Division 2 Terms of Payment 60 Days and sale done 200 amount

FD32 will work like this

for the first 30 days via(from) Division 1 there will be no block even if payment is not received from the customer and it will take effect from 31st day.

Forr the first 60 days from the Division 2 here will be no block even if payment is not received from the customer and it will take effect from 61st day.

and assume if both the division do the sale on same day then 100 will be limit on after 31 days if no payment received and 300 on after 61 days if no Payment is received.

Thanking you!

Dear Ankit

Your system is working fully fine and doing great.

if Customer X has crossed payment terms in EWD division, it will block sales orders for all the divisions. As per your settings it won't because it seems that you have used credit assignment to the sales area.

You just centralized your credit system and you can do that by assigning your credit limit to order types

SPRO>SD>Basic Functions>Credit Management/Risk Management>Credit Management>Assign Sales Documents and Delivery Documents.Do the settings here and remove from

SPRO> Enterprise Structure >Assignment>Sales and Distribution>Assign sales area to credit control area

and after doing changes in the settings kindly run F.28 and recreate FI and SD Data so that it take effect in all the pending documents.

Thanking you!
