File to File without mapping

Hi.

I'm going to make a scenario where I should pick up an Flat file from an eksternal FTP-server and then just transport the file til SAP AL11.

No mapping is necessary.

Do I need to set opp Datatype and Messagetype ?

The only change I have to do is rename the file before I send it to SAP.

Any idea how to to this as simple as possible ?

no, you can use any already existing (from SAP BASIC SWCV for example)

a few places where you can do that:

- in the mapping

- in the adapter module (custom dev)

- in the batch script (OS command line script) which will be started at receiver file adapter
