Dear All,
We want to setup the FTP connectivity between SAP and External server.
This is required to upload the files from Exterrnal server to SAP Server.
please advise me what kind of configuration to be done in SAP end and external serve[Non SAP].

For security reason you must use SFTP (secure FTP). Non-SAP server must have SFTP client installed and SAP server must have SFTP software installed. Request network team to open the port 22 (default port) between your SAP and Non-SAP sever. Test the connectivity.
Depends on how many times you want to pull the file to SAP server, accordingly you can schedule a job to get the file.
There are many docs on how to configure/test (unix/windows) SFTP on internet.
