Technical operations setup

Dear Solman Experts.

I have a question about Technical Operations in solman 7.1

Can anyone say do i need Basis-skills for that ? or i can just follow the steps in solman_setup.

And how many time is needed to setup it, e.g. if i have 1 landscape DEV QAS PRD

Hi Dan,

what kind of Technical operations you are looking for,

just go to service.sap.com/rkt-solman -> release 7.1 -> technical operation, inside you might get list as Techmon, RCA, BPMON, BIMON.

All depends on your requirement, most of the tech operations like RCA, Monitoring needs to be done for each system.

any one who understands the concept they can do the setups, I have one of my friend who is basically ABAP developer, now so well in all those concepts in sollution manager.

Just follow the how to giuides and operation setup helps.

Sorry not mentioned that. I need full Technical Operations functionality.

Assume i have only one system landscape with only one prod system

I do understand the concept and more i studied SM300 BP&Interface monitoring.

And im ABAP developer also, have 5 years experiance with ABAP and passed certification.
