Preq for BF SRM_SELF_SERVICE_1 - Simplified SC

Dear Guru's,

WE are thinking of using the simplified SC.

When we wnat to activate the BF SRM_SELF_SERVICE_1 it tells us something about pre-requisites. What are these or where can I read about these?

Hi Tom,

Please check at following linik more about this switch:

In order to use the "simplified shopping cart", Business Function

SRM_SELF_SERVICE_1 should be activated and role /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE_EHP1

should be in place.

Hi Toma,

I only saw this working with Portal.

I am not sure if with NWBC it will work..

Hi Tom,

I just tested this at NWBC. I inserted the role /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE_EHP1 into my user and it worked.

Thus, I guess it should work without issues.

If we want to use portal access, what portale role should be used to access simplified SC from protal?

Hi Tom,

Portal role is "Employee Self-Service - EHP1" You should look for

*employee* in portal administration and assign role with description

above.

com.sap.pct.srm.core.ro_employeeselfservice
