Afaria Android Not able to enroll

Hi,

Earlier for Afaria 6.6 i was able to enroll the android devices by generating an enrollment code and everything was working fine but now when i try to enroll the device usign the same policy it is showing an error that it is not authorized to run the channel. Please enter a valid username and password.

Has anyone faced such a kind of error..

Hi Rakshit,

You can check one thing, select afaria on your IIS and check Authentication. If it's selected as Basic Auth/Windows Auth then you will need to provide user name / password which exists in default domain.

Or you can activate only Anonymous authentication to skip this.

Hi Abhishek,

I solved it myself. Forgot to update here.

I had earlier assigned a client group which contained android devices to the channel but had removed it by mistake.

Again assigned the group to the channel and tried to enroll and it started working once more
