How to display ST03 transaction profile without aggregation?

Hi experts,

I don't know why but my production system displays only aggregated ST03 transaction profile(like sreenshot 1).

How do I see the transaction profile of individual records(report or transaction, like screenshot 2)?

Hi Dennis,

You also need to check following parameters maintained for data aggregation retention. If you need detailed data available you might have to increase if it is less.

Thanks,

Samik

Dear Customer,
Thanks for your update. i can log on to the system.

I checked other similar reported ST03 / ST03N issue like this one.
I suppose someone did do something on your system with note 1110822 .

Here are solutions I observed:
"
You could if you wish try to run SWNC_COLLECTOR_COMPRESSION again with
the WM profile unchecked, but note that this could potentially again
lead to dumps in the collector due to too much data.

If you do run SWNC_COLLECTOR_COMPRESSION again with the WM profile
unchecked, then make sure you do not change or un-check any of the
other prfiles, or else you will be back to the start of this message
with collector dumps due to too much data.

Unfortunately it's not possible to recover these compressed data anymoreas they were truncated on the DB-level. Sorry for this 'bad news'.
However you'll not have this problem with a new collected statistic
data.
"
Hope above information helps.

Hi Dennis,

This is all about configuration. Basically you need to maintain retention time periods for different types of data.

  1. To set the parameters that affect the reorganization of the table MONI, choose the following path in the navigation bar in ST03N : Collector and Performance DB ® Performance Database ® Monitoring Database ® Reorganization. The Retention Time for Performance Data screen appears.

Hi Samik,

Thanks. I change standard data retention from 70,20,20 to 2,2,2 and other data retention from 40,24,24 to 20,20,14.

By the way, I found number of rows in MONI on DEV/QAS/PRD are 6.8K, 32K, 183K. Should I delete them manually?

Hello,

Manual deletion of MONI entries is not necessary. The reorg job will take care as per the retention time period you have specified.
