brtools recovery report

Dear Forum!

The Recovery Report which can be shown by transaktion DB12 provides important information for us.

I wonder if it is possible to call this report directly via the brtools (per script) so that it is not neessary to call transaction DB12 for every System again and again.

Does somebody know the proper brcall, or does somebody have another idea how we get the information?

Thanks a lot

Andreas

DB12 is just reading the logfile created by brtools...

I wonder if it is possible to call this report directly via the brtools

You don't need to, you can call the plaint text log directly.

Hello Juan,

thanks for the quick answer!

I am not sure which log you mean. What I find:

bash-3.2$ find ./sap* -name "*.log"

./saparch/archE06.log

./sapbackup/backE06.log

./sapcheck/connE06.log

./sapreorg/spaceE06.log

Is it a combination of  archE06.log and backE06.log? Or where else should I look?

Thanks,

Andreas

Go to DB14 and you'll be able to list all the operations and their log files.
