Initialize livecache

Hello,

I´m in LC10 transaction and I don´t have the button for initializa the livecache. I can only see the but start/stop/register LCApps.

I´ve the role SAP_BC_LVC_SUPERUSER. What can I do for view this button in this tcode?

Which is the function of Register LCApps button?

Any suggestion?

Hello,

A)

the liveCache initialization is hidden in the top menu in /nLC10 to avoid the data lost in the liveCache

by click-mistake made by liveCache user-admins in the past.

B)

To register the LCA routines .

If you restart the liveCache in LC10 then the LCA routines will be register at the end as well. Check the lcinit.log.

And, for example, if you have OneDB database solution, then after the SCM system restarted after the MAXDB/LCA upgrade,

you need to register the LCA routines in LC10 to be able tto run the liveCache applications on the system.

I´ve seen this link of SAP Help, but my doubt is about I can´t see this button if I get the role of supersuser of livecache.

Hello Ruben

Even if you have the super user role assigned, you will not get the button. You can see that only in the menu.
