Change material description on SRM

Hi,

Our customer wants to change the material description on SRM side, the material description in SRM would be different of R/3.

For that purpose the material could be replicated from R/3 to SRM without description. However, I think that is not possible to change the material description on SRM side (even if the material description is empty).

Could you confirm if is possible to change the material description, in SRM, of materials replicated from R/3? And if yes how can I do that.

Hello,

I am afraid that this is not possible. Since material has been replicated from ECC, it should be in sync with SRM. There is no table where you can change the description directly in SRM.

In COMMPR01 this wouldn't be possible. Therefore, I think this would not be achievable. Also, perhaps this could cause some inconsistency between ECC and SRM.
