Goods Reversal Calendar Date should be PGI Date

Dear Consultants,

Am facing one issue our client did goods reversal VL09 he suppose to do goods reversal on 31st October 2012 but because the calendar date was present date user forgot to change it simple clicked reversal button the delivery stock came on present date. now are trying to set this calendar default date should be PGI date.  is there any solution

Dear ATGSD

You seems to have in great problem and this seems more painful when you do stock reconciliation at the end of the month,but the sad part is you can't do much about it as SAP is a standard product and there are many valid reasons behind this and one of them is that you can't do reversal of reversed document.

Though some people are mostly concern about stock positions they used to overcome this problem like this.

Do the 561 in the previous month and 562 in the current month in this way you can tally your stock but this is not recommended.

Hi ATGSD ,

I dont think whether we can change the date in the Material document. Try in MB02.

Otherwise do the GI again and then Reverse it with the correct date. Make sure that the period is open for the date you mention in reverse GI.
